Hotel Farol

Located in Praia da Barra, the Farol Hotel is a small three-star hotel unit, situated in the heart of Praia da Barra.

The experience begins in a singular salmon-pink 19th-century building, which retains its original layout, next to the famous Barra Lighthouse. This, which is the largest in Portugal, the second largest on the Iberian Peninsula, was once the collaborator of the ships arriving here.

Composed of 26 rooms, spread over three floors, it is possible to book double rooms and suites with generous areas. Breakfast is a focal point of the stay, much appreciated and praised by customers, varied and with quality products and of the region. We also have special menus for coeliacs, dieticians, among others, on request.

During their stay, Hotel Farol provides bicycles so that guests can tour the beach area, go for walks and discover what the region has to offer. In addition it has several activity packages allusive to the Aveiro area, from gastronomy, culture, heritage, nature, adventure and sports.

The environment and location allow a unique experience, in an intimate and seductive environment, with great conditions for a weekend getaway, some great days of holiday or a quiet and restful stay on business trips.
